Lockton Affinity, a division of Lockton Companies, located in Overland Park, Kansas, is currently looking for a person to join our insurance processing team as a Customer Service Representative. The position will be responsible for the servicing needs to our Professional Liability customer under the direct supervision of the Team Leader. Duties include: answering calls, handling customer requests, utilizing computer applications and ability to manage multiple programs related to the Professional Liability book of business, etc. The hours of this position will be 10am-6:30pm, M-F.
DUTIES
·
Responds in a timely manner to the requests and needs of the client, program executive, and manager
·
Receives requests, prepares and issues document using the applicable
system
·
Helps assist customers over the phone
·
Makes positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly
strives to improve service to the customer
· Communicates in a positive manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment
· Prepares written correspondence, reports, and analyses, as needed
·
Performs other work related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
·
Associate's
Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of equivalent experience
·
Minimal
insurance experience is required
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
· Ability to work with computer technology with little instruction with proficiency at spreadsheet and word processing programs.
· Organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines.
· Ability to handle a heavy phone volume
·
Demonstrated professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to
achieve objectives.
· Strong verbal and interpersonal
communication skills required
· Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
